I believe the builder of this modern adaptation is the same guy who owns several establishments on this stretch of 9th Ave. They tore down one tenement and replaced it with a glass low-rise that neatly tucks around the existing old buildings.  I see a Tetris image again. That’s Hearst only a couple blocks away. Golden Hour shot. 

i love when a new building engulfs an old.
