I’m sure everyone watching Friday’s episode of Fringe had a flashback to the season one LOST finale when Walter and Peter opened this hatch.

We had a great, fun ADR session with Daniel Dae Kim today. He is voicing the character Hiroshi Sato, Asami’s father. Even though we have worked with him a handful of times before (he also voiced General Fong in “The Avatar State”), all of those sessions were recorded remotely via ISDN. Mike and I have always offered to travel to Hawaii to record him, but somehow it never fit into the schedule and budget, ha ha… But luckily it finally worked out that we got to meet and record Daniel in person. Nicest guy ever!
EDIT: Sadly, we’re in LA. Daniel is on Hawaii Five-O, so he’s still based in Hawaii.
